Mackenzie Highway The principal route into the NWT, the Mackenzie Highway (Highway 1) runs from Grimshaw, Alberta (Highway 35, AB) and official ends at Wrigley, NWT. Often called the waterfall highway, this route passes many falls along the way including the Louise Falls and Lady Evelyn.
